Munk - The Bird and The Beat (2011)

You're Not Alone in The Disco, Baby!

"This is gonna make you happy… :The new Munk album “The Bird and the Beat” is ready to be released in a few weeks. Mathias Modica recorded it with 12 girls from different parts of the world. Among them are Lou Hayter from New Young Pony Club / London, Joyce Muniz from Brasil and Pollyester from Permanent Vacation / Munich. The new album is very sweet. It has been described by a journalist as sounding like “Feist jamming with Caribou produced by Masters at Work”. A trip though different languages and styles. Starting like a 90ies house record … becoming weirder, deeper and a bit extravagant. You might know already La Musica and Violent Love.. which have already been released. The next album single is Keep My Secret. A sweet little song comes up with remixes by Welcome Stranger (Thomas from Rub n Tug), Jacques Renault from New York’s Runaway and Rory Phillips. Not yet released but it is on blogs everywhere already and it gets crazy feedback: Tim Sweeney, Breakbot, Prins Thomas and many others are playing it. Be ready for the single on Friday and Munk the 3rd soon!" (gomma)

The Bird and The Beat será lançado dia 26 e eu espero ansiosamente por um link.
