Me desculpem pelo sumiço dos ultimos dias mas estou sem tempo pra postar, hoje finalmente consegui um tempinho entre o café e o cigarro; graças a insônia que ultimamente tem me abandonado. Enfim um post bem rápido, curto e certeiro: SMITH WESTERNS. Nesses dias em que abandonei o blog acabei ouvindo poucas musicas pelo mesmo motivo do abandono, manhãs preguiçosas e noites cansativas me fizeram relembrar do velho(e que velho ein bob?) Guided by Voices e me fizeram voltar a ouvir "Smothered in Hugs" mais umas mil vezes. Mas nem só de velharias vive este que vos tecla.. numa lida numa daquelas listas da pitchfork me deparei com esses caras ae. De começo achei que seria como uma daquelas bandas que eu baixo o disco, ouço duas vezes e jogo na sessão dos esquecidos, porém quando vazou o segundo album -- Dye it Blonde previsto para 2011, o debut ainda estava entre os mais executados e então digamos que foi amor à segunda audição! Smith Westerns é: Cullen Omori no vocal, Max Kakacek na guitarra e Cameron Omori no baixo, banda originaria de Chicago, o debut se deu em 2009 com um disco bem lo-fi e seu sucessor está previsto para 18 de janeiro.
